Gothic, Georgian & Mini Spires

A stunning architectural piece in your garden year-round, use it in your border or even as a fabulous cherry tomato support. Pretty with any climber or maybe a string of fairy lights during the festive season. The spires stand at about 2.1 metres; the width at base is ~50cm. The Georgian Spire finial is a 50mm cast ball while the Gothic Spire has a fleur-de-lis. The Mini versions of these two styles stand at 1.54 metres (Mini Gothic) and 1.44 metres (Mini Georgian), both with a base of ~35cm.

Trumpet

Imagine a tower of Sweet peas, Delphiniums, Jasmine or Clematis – these towers will certainly make an impact in your garden. Developed in conjunction with the team at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, the ‘Small’ option is designed specifically for dahlias – wider but a little shorter than the Medium and Large options. Specifications:
Large – height 2.13 m, width at base 50 cm, width at top ~84 cm.
Medium – height 1.86 m, width at base 40 cm, width at top ~68 cm.
Small – height 1.68 m, width at base 50 cm, width at top ~79 cm.

Peony

Although called a Peony support (which they are perfect for), these can be used for many plants in the garden that need support or containment including shrub roses, young hydrangeas, alstroemeria, hellebores, geranium, daisies and much more. Specifications:
Large (5 legged) – height 96 cm, width at base 30 cm, width at top ~65 cm.
Small (3 legged) – height 68 cm, width at base 28 cm, width at top ~45 cm.

Delph Cornet

Ideal for younger delphiniums, clumps of Gladioli or lilies, Irises, Clivia, and shorter varieties of sweet peas. The Cornet stands at 1.48 metres; the width at base is ~ 30 cm and the width at top is ~ 55 cm.

Flower Basket Stands

Designed to hold a 40 cm “hanging” basket, these stands are fantastic when you don’t have anywhere to hang a basket but love the look! Plant them up with flowers, herbs, strawberries and even salad greens. Super easy to pick, tend, water and enjoy. Available in 3 heights – 60 cm, 8 0cm and 1 m tall.

Duchess Trellis

New for spring 2022 is our elegant Duchess Trellis. At 2.1m tall, even with a sturdy 300mm pushed into the soil there is plenty of height for your jasmine, sweet peas, clematis or climbing vegetables. Available from our retailers now.

Ladder Supports

Useful for indoor plants in pots or outside in the garden, singly or in a row. Indoors are ideal for Monstera, Epipremnun, Fatshedera, Jasmine etc. Outdoors can be either on their own to support any climber – or grouped and fastened together to form any desired shape – triangle, square, zig-zag etc. Medium ladder support is 168 cm high by 30 cm wide, small ladder is 108 x 25 cm.

Cloche Hoops

Our sets of 5 cloche hoops are made from the same 8mm steel rod of our plant supports, so super sturdy and strong. Easy to use with frost cloth, insect or bird netting to keep your fruit and veg safe and sound! The cloche hoops come in 2 different sizes:
Small – w500mm x h550mm – come in a 3 pack.
Large – 1m x 1m – sold singularly.

Rod & Ball stakes / Bloom spikes

Our single rods, with a 30mm ball on top, can be used for just about anything – as a single stake for individual flowers or tomatoes, tied together in a row for beans, in a circle to surround large perennials…. the options are endless! Particularly useful as a support for newly planted standard roses. Heights come in 1.8, 1.4 and 1 metres. The Bloom Spikes are great for single flower stems of Delphinium, Lillies, Gladioli, Allium… they come in two sizes (1.2 and 0.8 metres) with a ~ 55 mm open loop.
